Building Energy Consulting and Audits

With energy costs on the rise and utility costs taking up a large portion of operating budgets, property managers are forced to take action. We at Green$aver understand the concerns of property managers and their Boards of Directors and are specialized to provide solutions that will help reduce operating costs, while improving the environment and the world we live in.

Green$aver's energy efficiency consulting services is designed to help Multiple Unit Residential Buildings (MURs), as well as commercial and mixed use buildings to reduce energy consumption and be more efficient. These include recommending cost effective, energy efficiency upgrades to the building envelope (walls, windows, ceiling, floors), heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, domestic hot water heating and lighting.

Environmental Audits to help determine the building envelope integrity

Green$aver offers environmental audits with wind simulation for highrise buildings, used to assess the integrity of the building envelope. With over 25 years experience in blower door depressurisation, Green$aver can help engineers, restoration companies and building owners in completing their environmental assessment of the building envelope.


Energy Education and Custom Conservation Incentive Programs

Until individual electricity metering becomes a standard in the GTA, Green$aver realizes that, while some of the highest energy savings can come from energy efficiency in individual units in MURs, this will not happen without an education and incentive programs. This is a common problem with apartments and condominiums where individual energy use in apartments or units are typically not in direct control of the property managers. With extensive experience in unit owner and tenant energy education in different GTA communities, Green$aver also offers a custom designed incentive and education program for each building, to help building operators lower the overall building energy bills.
