Green$aver was selected by the Ontario Power Authority as the delivery agent in Ontario to study and report on the potential energy savings of small business, especially energy intensive businesses, such as grocers and restaurants. We have a long history of energy efficiency in smaller buildings and businesses and understand this business segment well. When we perform an energy assessment or retrofits, we always use the same criteria that small business owners and operators would use themselves - implementing changes that are economically viable and bring the biggest return in terms of reduced energy use.
Green$aver is currently also partnering with a number of local utilities to develop the best types of incentives to tackle this business segment in various jurisdictions in Ontario. If you are a local utility and would like us to work with you, please call (416) 203-3106 x225 or email us at smallbusiness@greensaver.org for more information.
By utilizing an experienced multi-ethnic staff of qualified energy advisors, Green$aver is able to understand the local issues much better and recommend the best solutions for your particular situation. Green$aver can conduct an energy assessment of your small business or small commercial or mixed use building, in order to identify cost effective energy savings opportunities to:
- Boost profits of your business,
- Improve comfort for your customers, employees and tenants,
- Save money on your natural gas and electricity bills (average electricity savings of 20% reported*)
A large portion of the energy that is consumed may be wasted by:
- Inefficient equipment,
- Outdated controls,
- Improper maintenance of equipment.
Green$aver can identify cost effective, energy efficient solutions for:
- Heating
- Air conditioning
- Ventilation
- Cooking
- Refrigeration
- Hot water heating
