Cost effective solution form insulating wide cavity walls with minimal destruction. Recycled newspaper treated with fire retardants is “blown” into existing walls.
STEP 1
House is prepped for work (furniture and flooring are covered). It is recommended that homeowner clear a space of approximately 2-3 ft. in front of walls to be insulated.
STEP 2
2 ½” diameter hole is drilled into drywall where cavities are to be filled.
STEP 3
A tube long enough to reach top and bottom of cavity is fed into the wall. This ensures cellulose is applied evenly and eliminates settling issues.
STEP 4
Cellulose insulation is densely packed into wall cavity through tube.
STEP 5
All drilled holes are patched with two coats of plaster.
STEP 6
GreenSaver crews vacuum and tidy up work area.
