Program Manager
Green$aver is in the forefront of energy conservation program development and delivery in Toronto the province of Ontario and nationally. The programs range from early stage pilot programs to CDM programs on behalf of government agencies, corporations and utilities. The Program Manager will:
- Develop and design programs to attain energy saving objectives
- Develop and implement residential and/or small business energy-efficiency programs by leading a team that includes Green$aver and other corporate, government and non-profit partner organizations
- Coordinate, review and approve work for a program team
- Act as advisor and technical leader for the work group, including personally leading and conducting energy audits
- Provide timely and regular program reporting to all stakeholders
- Manage implementation of programs including accountability for budget and energy savings target to ensure success of program
- Develop partnerships with other organizations seeking to advance energy-efficiency
- Make presentations to targeted audiences and promote Green$aver
The successful candidate should have:
- Experience working in the energy sector or a strong program management background
- Experience with product/program development as well as financial analysis
- Effective leadership, relations management and team building skills
- Strong business and strategic thinking skills
- Well developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Well developed analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
- A CEA designation from NRCan and an advanced technical or engineering degree would be considered an asset
Energy Advisor (multiple contract positions)
Due to the increased energy audit activity, Green$aver is interested to hear from qualified energy advisors who are interested in performing energy audits of residential and commercial buildings. Working as an independent contractor, you would deliver energy audits, submit reports and provide on-site customer energy education. Good customer relationship skills, some energy or building science experience and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are important. A CEA designation from NRCan and an advanced technical or engineering degree would be considered an asset.
Retrofit Crew Chiefs and Installers
Green$aver is looking for qualified people with experience in insulating, weather striping and caulking as well as minor drywall/plaster repair. Additional training will be provided. The key attributes are:
- Must have a professional presence, be timely, appear neat and keep the workplace safe and very neat at all times.
- Will be able to safely use a wide variety of power tools, ladders and must be comfortable working in attics and crawl space safely.
In addition, the crew chiefs will:
- Be comfortable with regularly managing a crew of one to three workers to get work done in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe operating environment for the crew by providing clear instruction, training and necessary protective gear.
- Inspect crew's work routinely to insure quality workmanship.
- Have a clean driving record with cube van driving experience and will maintain a clean organized truck.
- Maintain tools, truck and equipment to ensure optimal and safe operation.
- Ensure trucks are stocked with enough materials to allow the day-to-day business to run optimally.
- Be comfortable in working in a team environment with the Operations Manager, Quality Control and Customer Service
