This ecoENERGY Retrofit Homes Program provide grants up to $5,000 to homeowners making energy efficient improvements from now until March 31,2012 or until the funds run out.
Eligible home improvements include:
- Ceiling, wall, basement & crawl space insulation
- High efficiency furnaces
- Air conditioners
- Heat pumps and ventilation systems
- Energy Star windows and doors
- Domestic water heating equipment
- Low flush toilets

Home Energy Help
Region – City of Toronto
Home Energy Help (HELP) is an assistance program for low income home owners who heat their home with natural gas. The program is managed by GreenSaver on behalf of Toronto Hydro, the City of Toronto and Enbridge Gas Distribution. Eligible participants may receive installation of energy efficient measures such as:
-draft proofing,
-wall and attic insulation
All qualified applicants receive an energy audit of their home with a full written report. This report provides insight into how you can save energy. GreenSaver completes all of the weatherization work.
All GreenSaver home energy assessors and retrofitters are licensed. We take care you every step of the way from helping you make the application to ensuring all work is complete to your satisfaction. Thanks to the program sponsors, Enbridge Gas and City of Toronto, HELP is entirely free.
